Free Boiler & Installation Competition – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The competition is run by Home Heating Team (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. The Prize

The prize consists of one gas combi boiler from our Core product range, selected solely by us, including standard installation by our engineers.

There is no cash alternative. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or sold.

3. Eligibility

The property must be located within NP, CF or BS postcode areas.

The winner must be the legal property owner.

Investment properties are permitted.

Tenants and housing association properties are excluded.

The property must already have a gas supply and an existing combi boiler.

No system conversions are included.

We reserve the absolute right to refuse any property that is unsafe, non-compliant or commercially unreasonable.

4. Survey & Suitability

A pre-installation survey is mandatory and will primarily be conducted via WhatsApp using photos and video.

We reserve the right to request a physical site visit.

If the survey identifies safety issues, non-compliance or additional works, we reserve the right to withdraw the offer or apply supplementary charges.

5. Excluded Works & Chargeable Extras

Chargeable extras may include scaffolding, roof flue exits, extended flue runs, electrical works, pipework beyond the boiler, controls not supplied by us, asbestos removal, parking permits or specialist access equipment.

6. Payment of Supplements

Any supplementary costs must be paid at least 48 hours before work starts.

Failure to pay required supplements will result in forfeiture of the prize.

7. Installation Dates & Delays

Installation must take place during July or August unless otherwise agreed at our discretion.

We are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control.

8. Communication & Cancellation

Failure to respond within 21 days of the draw may result in withdrawal of the prize.

Changes to installation dates with less than 7 days’ notice may incur a £100 rebooking fee.

9. Liability & Limitations

Our total liability is limited to the retail value of the boiler and installation.

We are not responsible for existing system faults, pipework beyond the boiler, radiators, controls not supplied by us, or indirect losses.

10. Warranties & Compliance

The boiler is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

All works comply with Gas Safe and Building Regulations.

11. Marketing & Publicity

By accepting the prize, the winner consents to reasonable marketing use including photos and videos.

12. Data Protection

Data will be used for competition administration and marketing, with opt-out available.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
